The Admission Counsellor will be responsible for managing the college's admission process and providing guidance and support to prospective students and their families. This includes but is not limited to providing information about the college, conducting campus tours, and assisting with the application process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide information about the college and its programs to prospective students and their families
  • Conduct campus tours and answer questions about the college
  • Assist with the application process, including reviewing and processing applications and supporting documentation
  • Provide guidance and support to prospective students throughout the enrollment process
  • Act as a liaison between the college and high school counselors
  • Attend college fairs and other recruitment events
  • Keep abreast of current trends in college admissions
  • Communicate the admission requirements and policies to the prospective students and their families

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in education, counseling or a related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in college admissions or counseling
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong knowledge of college admissions policies and procedures
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

The Admission Counsellor will be an integral part of the NIMT College team, and will play a key role in helping to attract and enroll the best and brightest students to the college.
